The highlight of the RTW Givenchy Fall 2014 collection were the breezy printed chiffon fabrics, celebrating elegance and femininity. Despite the delicacy of the fabrics and how the runway show began—with soft, sheer prints—the collection quickly evolved into more daring animal prints and bold colors. Similarly, to balance out all of the light dresses, tights and strappy heels, the collection was nicely rounded out by a few fiercely cut suits.
One of the most luxurious looks from the Givenchy collection included fur details like leopard spot prints, or fur from a beaver or fox. In addition to lush outerwear, fur embellishments were worked into some of the evening looks, which is opulence and excess at its finest.
