Many modern living spaces have ample open-concept living space but can sometimes leave privacy by the wayside, which is something that this geometric villa combats against. Situated between the Caspian Sea and the Sisangan Forest in the Sisangan province in Iran, the building is constructed with a focus on privacy and is achieved with slabs of concrete that form a tent-like structure. This helps to maximize the capabilities of the living space, while also protecting the privacy of the inhabitants and maximizing the amount of natural light that can pour in throughout the day.
The geometric villa is the design work of MADO Architects and identifies what can be done to balance modern materials with daily living requirements.
