Artist Kotaro Horiuchi has previously done two other instalments for her Fusionner series, and her latest examines the idea of a house and fluidly floating objects.
This section of the project is titled 'Fusionner 3.0: Air House,' and "the composition presents visitors with thin and pure white layers of paper [that] are floating fluidly in the space," says DesignBoom. With the lighting inside and the way the paper is folded, one constantly is aware of their own body and its size in relation to the space around them. This is an interesting concept, and one that Kotaro Horiuchi wanted to play with by using a mixture of excessive space and a lack of it.
Currently there are only three installations for this series, but hopefully Kotaro Horiuchi will add more to the repertoire. Photo Credits: designboom, kotarohoriuchi
