Notoriously shy of the media there is a whole secret community of people who like to take part in role play dressed as Furry Animals.
Furries by definition are people who ‘enjoy the concept of blending animal with human characteristics,’ and celebrate related art. Many have their own ‘fursonas’ - who they can dress as during role-playing sessions.
Only a few Furries do this for sexual kicks although this is the area most commonly focused on for sensationalist coverage. I am a TV producer and would do the same. And of course, there are indeed those who have a hardcore fur fetish out there.
At least when dressed as a Furry, no matter what you do, no one will know it is you unless the costume comes off.
