Fruitfunk is Using Popular Franchises to Entice Kids to Health Snacks

Healthy snacking is often geared mainly towards adults, but Dutch-based Fruitfunk is hoping to introduce fun fruit snacks to children as an alternative to sugar-laden treats. Made entirely from actual fruits, Fruitfunk implements a unique drying process that keeps the fibers, minerals and a large part of the vitamins in the fruit. The varieties offered in the fun fruit snacks generally fall on basic flavors, all of which were chosen to specifically appeal to children's palates and include strawberry, apple and banana, as well as blends.

While healthy snacks are sure to appeal to parents, kids usually require some other sort of incentive. To ensure that children also enjoy reaching for a bag of these fun fruit snacks, Fruitfunk partnered with Universal, Dreamworks and Nickelodeon to produce snacks under certain brands. This allows the snacks to feature branding that includes images from recognizable franchises such as Minions, Paw Patrol, Trolls and many more.
