Amazon is undertaking a new hiring push, where the e-commerce giant will look to take on 75,000 fulfillment and logistics workers across facilities in the United States and Canada.
Amazon is looking to utilize the new personal at both fulfillment centers and also delivery stations. The new positions will have starting pay at $17 an hour, where several centers will also payout a signing bonus maxing out at $1,000. Amazon is also incentivizing new hires to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine, where employees who show up vaccinated for their start date will receive $100.
