Repurposed Fruit Yogurts

Left-Yeovers' Fruit Yogurt is Made with Produce to Reduce Food Waste

Yeo Valley observed that more than 4.2 million tons of food is wasted annually in UK household and set out to create a fruit yogurt to address this.

While 'Left-Yeovers' began its development purely as part of an April Fool's Day joke, somewhere along the way it was realized as a viable idea that could cut down on food waste. Yeo Valley describes that the dairy product is made from a blend of "lonely figs, melancholic carrot juice, ostracised orange juice and store cupboard strawberries" that have been given a second life that won't go to waste.

In addition to being a simple blend of organic product and organic whole milk yogurt, the purchase of each special-edition yogurt plays a part in helping the food supply organisation FareShare.
