Independence Day is just around the corner and Andy's Frozen Custard is celebrating with a colorful new dessert dubbed the 'Freedom Berry Jackhammer.'
The latest dessert is a twist on one of Andy's signature offerings, the Jackhammer. To create the 4th of July-themed version, the chain combines Made Fresh Hourly vanilla frozen custard, a blend of fresh blueberries and strawberries, and then 'drills and fills' the treat with marshmallow crème. As Andy Kuntz, Owner and CEO of Andy’s Frozen Custard, explains, "We are so proud to be offering this special treat in the red, white and blue colors of our great American flag." Perhaps best of all, a portion of the sales from the July 4th Freedom Berry Jackhammer goes to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports first responders, military personnel, and their families.
