Smith Hanes Studio created a stunning floral bar decor for Atrium—an establishment that opened its doors to consumers earlier in 2022. Located inside the Ponce City Market in Atlanta, the bar now distinguishes itself with curiosity-provoking decor and a lush, luxurious atmosphere.
Smith Hanes Studio was very careful when planning the floral bar decor for Atrium. The design firm thought through every detail and material use. Inspired by "colorful French cafe and Art Deco buildings," this project spotlights colorful, a stunning tropical bird mural by Savannah-based artist Kipper Millsap, handmade fluted ceramic tiles—which take design cues from Roman columns and architecture, plants that cascade down from the ceiling, and bright colors throughout.
Split over two main rooms—The Parlor and The Bistro—the aesthetic of each section is different yet complementary.
