Studio Élémentaires Creates the Flasher Light System

Design firm Studio Élémentaires creates the Flasher, which is made to replicate the movement and light that comes from the disco ball. It appears to be a modernized concept of the retro disco ball, inspired by the look and shape of stage spotlights that are seen lighting up concerts and plays.

The movement of the illumination also adds a seamless kinetic and hypnotic dynamic to the light. It is essentially a large panel that houses 25 light grids with the addition of 25 perforated discs -- these discs move around continuously in various directions to appear and disappear. The panel structure has a monochromatic look and evokes a high shine with the aluminum plates, rounding it out with pulleys, bearings, and belt paths.
