Studio PKT recently completed the Five Element, a luxurious home that sits at the top of a hill to look down on India's beautiful Pavana Lake.
Acting as a mirror to the surrounding landscape, the home has a naturalistic aesthetic that is rustic and calming. Designed to resemble a fort, the structure is comprised of multiple volumes that are all centered around a large exterior courtyard. The dark wintergreen facade blends naturally into the grass, pairing perfectly with the natural palette of teak, terracotta, stone and tonnes of exposed brick. The interior offers large over-sized windows to look out on at the views and flood each room with natural sunlight.
The Five Element home allows all guests to feel as though they are immersed in nature while inside the modern retreat.
