Dallas-based entrepreneur Raul Chacon has invented Nano Lure, an ingenious robotic fish bait gadget. The bait, which looks like a fish, is equipped with two triple-pronged hooks at the bottom, and an eyelet through which fishing like can be attached to its fin.
The Nano Lure is embedded with a sensor that activates upon contact with water. The sensor works with electromagnets on the fish to give the robotic fish bait a natural, fish-like flapping motion. The robotic fish even automatically switches between slow, medium and fast swimming cycles.
Chacon is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for mass-producing the Nano Lure. A $22 pledge is all it takes to land one if and when the campaign's fundraising goal is met.
