A Scottish online publication has beaten major fashion magazines to the punch in becoming the first fashion title to become available via Amazon's Alexa.
From ordering household essentials and calling taxis to controlling your smart home devices, Alexa can now read consumers daily fashion news from Fashion Fix Daily with the launch of the first fashion magazine with voice skill technology.
As Fashion Fix Daily is dedicated to sharing fashion news and updates, FFD's Editor in Chief Amanda Davies, explains: "Audio is the next step in publishing and at Fashion Fix Daily, we are constantly looking for new ways to communicate with our readers, so Alexa was a perfect progression for us and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of such an exciting new platform."
With every article curated by award-winning UK fashion influencers and bloggers including Scottish leaders Honey Pop Kisses to Forever Yours Betty, Fashion Fix Daily brings consumers everything from fashion news to opinion pieces on of-the-moment topics, which will now be available for the new Amazon Echo.
Over the coming months, Fashion Fix Daily will be writing daily content specifically for voice-first tech devices, bringing both mainstream and lesser known fashion stories to light.
To enable the skill, consumers are able to search Fashion Fix Daily within the Echo/Alexa app, click "enable" and listen for free. Fashion Fix Daily is the first fashion publication to join the likes of Sky, BBC and Guardian.
