Ultra Creative Cut-Outs

FHM Flaunts Killer Editing Skills

In order to illustrated their killer editing style, FHM Singapore commissioned ad agency Ogilvy & Mather to create these amazing cut-out ads. The process involved the tedious job of carefully carving through hundreds of pages and cutting out images to produce one brilliantly edited image for each ad.

The ads show the power of skillful editing that can transform a boring subject or shoot into something much more interesting. Three books were used, an old comic book, and two work-out guides for women.

The ads were created for Ogilvy & Mather by art directors Eric Yeo, Adrian Chan, Andrew Goh, Ashidiq Ghazali, and photographers Jimmy Fok, Jeff Chen under executive creative direction by Todd McCracken.
