The creators of the Barcelona's popular "Happy Pills" candy store have launched "Eyescream", an ice cream shop that brings the frozen treat to life.
Playing with personification, the urban ice cream shop serves its customers with monster-inspired snacks that feature colorful ice cream masses and googly eye additions. Designers Merche Alcala and Marion Donneweg use a Taiwan-imported ice cream product which they describe as ugly, peculiar and as the perfect canvas for their edible monsters.
From its youthfully modern interior and graphic design concept to its wild and fun products, the "Eyescream" ice cream shop in Barcelona is the perfect stop for young snack lovers and their parents. When visiting the shop, customers are not only in store for a great snack but are given a chance to create their own sugary creature.
