Women's Movement Marathons

Milk's Every Woman's Marathon Was Created by and for Women

The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) Every Woman's Marathon is set to take place on November 16th, 2024 and it stands out as the only United States marathon designed by and for women.

Milk tapped acclaimed poet Amanda Gorman to create an inspirational mantra that serves as a call to action for women to join the movement. What's more, for the Every Woman's Marathon, Milk enlisted an advisory board comprised of five accomplished female runners: first female marathon finisher Kathrine Switzer, para-triathlon champion Danielle McLaughlin, Olympic Medalist Deena Kastor, trailblazer Alison Mariella Désir and Two-time Olympian and 2018 Boston Marathon Champion Des Linden. This experience goes above and beyond the usual marathon format and unfolds over two days, offering an inclusive, enriching experience for women with yoga, cooking classes, live performances, panel discussions and more.
