American e-commerce company Etsy has launched the 'Etsy House,' an augmented reality experience that invites shoppers to tour a virtual home that is decorated with unique items offered via the online marketplace.
An innovative promotional experience, the 'Etsy House' features life-size renderings of curated products and 360-degree imagery, creating a truly immersive experience for shoppers. The digital house will include Design Award-winning products, artwork, furniture, and other items, which users will be able to engage with to receive product information and purchase links.
In order to create the 'Etsy House,' the company partnered with the creative studio, The Boundry. With this new interactive installment, Etsy continues to experiment with AR and VR-enabled marketing, building on the June release of its other AR shopping tool.
