Conscientious Skin Care

Trilogy Products Focus on Cultural, Ethical and Eco Sustainability

Founders of Trilogy, Catherine de Groot, who worked as a beauty journalist, and her sister Sarah Gibbs started a company manufacturing ingredients from plants for use in natural supplements and cosmetics. In 2002, the Australian sisters combined their skills into a business to create an ethical skin care line for everyday women, and when they discovered a new way to extract rosehip oil that resulted in an innovative product for the beauty industry, Trilogy was born.

The name Trilogy represents the three core values of the brand: Simple, Pure, Vital. These words are what inspired Catherine and Sarah while they created the line, and are what they believe differentiate Trilogy from other skincare lines.

Trilogy’s products use only pure natural ingredients, and the company is committed to cultural, ethical and environmental sustainability. Catherine and Sarah work only with ethically sourced botanicals and use environmentally friendly packaging. Trilogy works to minimize the waste created within their offices, and are 100% against animal testing. The company's mantra and mission is to, "Maximum effect on your skin, minimum effect on our environment."

This February marks 10 years since Trilogy launched their first ethical skin care products in 2002. To celebrate this milestone, the company has launched a limited edition ‘Helping Hand Wash.’ All profits from the sale of Helping Hand Wash will be donated to Child’s i Foundation, a small charity making a big difference for the children of Uganda.

Child’s i Foundation runs projects to care for abandoned babies and vulnerable mothers, and has played an integral role in placing Uganda’s children in loving homes.
