Google's Allo App Transforms Selfies Into Icons in One's Likeness

Google recently added a fun new feature to its Allo app that makes it possible for users to create personalized emoji stickers just by taking a selfie. The technology combines neural networks and the works of artists to automatically generate custom selfie stickers in one's likeness.

Google worked with artists to develop sets of illustrations to match a wide range of features, many of which can be adjusted if they are not exactly to a user's specifications. Reportedly, there are more than 563 quadrillion unique combinations that can be made with this system.

Once their unique emoji stickers have been created, users are now able to make the most of their custom sticker packs from within Google's Allo Android messenger app, with the feature coming soon to Apple iOS devices.
