Massive Rooftop Murals

This Ella & Pitr Artwork Covers a 226,000 Square Foot Building in Norway

This huge mural in Norway by streetart duo Ella & Pitr covers the entire rooftop of a whopping 226,000 square foot building.

The building in question is the Block Berge Bygg construction company's headquarters in Rogaland county, Norway. The beautiful mural created by Ella & Pitr on the premises is overwhelmingly impressive in terms of sheer scale, but it also has a beautiful design and symbolism.

The mural depicts a sleeping girl curled up as if the rooftop was a box that she was resting in. Beside her lies a brightly painted doll of a king. The piece is titled 'Lilith & Olaf,' and is presumably a political jab at King Olaf I, who was born in the region. The Ella & Pitr mural rests under the flight path of the nearby Sola airport, so that plane passengers get a good view of it as they go by.
