Inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, student designers Silvia Albertí and Corinne Carbonneñ from Barcelona created two wine bottles inspired by Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy.
The 'Elisabeth Bennet & Mr. Darcy' wine types, labels and bottles were designed in such a way that helps to convey each character. Elizabeth is represented as a white wine, while her male counterpart is shown as a darker red vino. Elizabeth's earthiness comes across with the inclusion of the white tree on the label and the more prejudiced Mr. Darcy is shown with a stark bottle, crisper lines and a rigid form. Exploring wine and prejudice sounds like something that would be incredibly appealing to the ladies of a Jane Austen book club.
