Tinder Launched a New Voter Registration Feature for Midterm Season

Tinder partnered up with 'BallotReady' to launch the 'Election Center' feature inside of Tinder Explore. Explore is an interactive social hub within the dating application that allows users to group together for the purpose of events and experiences. For example, Explore is home to 'Vibes' which allows users to meet for concerts and events.

The new Election Center feature was created to streamline the voting process for Gen Z users while encouraging these users to become more informed and participate in the voting system in their region. The Election Center hub features four main functionalities: Register to Vote, My Actions, My Stickers, and My Ballot. The Register to Vote feature will redirect users to the voter registration page for their state, the My Actions feature informs users on the steps to vote, including the process for requesting a mail-in ballot, and the My Stickers function allows users to brag to one another with profile banners such as 'I Voted' stickers.

Lastly, the My Ballot feature integrates with BallotReady to provide necessary information surrounding the policy decisions and ramifications of each candidate during the voting process, helping Tinder users stay up-to-date and informed on political issues.
