The El Centro De Surf De Somo Bridges the Ribamonta Beach to the Streets

The El Centro De Surf De Samo in Spain is an architecturally stunning building that transforms an otherwise unused space into a community center of interaction between the Ribamontan beach and the neighborhood.

Inspired by a vintage Spanish surf shop, the El Centro De Surf De Samo reflects the popular surfer culture. The Romero Soto Architects group created the El Centro De Surf De Samo to easily connect the Ribamontan beach to with the streets. Built with fitting rooms, a surf shops and showers, classrooms, public lounges, grass patios, the El Centro De Surf De Samo surf community center restores life color back into an otherwise poorer area.

Made with quality materials like oak, concrete and glass, the El Centro De Surf De Samo is environmentally friendly and inviting space for the entire community to connect. Photo Credits: designboom, romerosoto
