IHOP's New Egg Omelette Has Similar Ingredients to a Cheeseburger

One of the newest additions to IHOP's menu is a burger-inspired egg omelette. The Cheeseburger Omelette is filled with ground beef, diced hash browns, tomatoes and onions. On top of the omelette are a few extra toppings, such as cheese, pickles and condiments that would ordinarily be found dressing a burger.

With the rise of hybrids across the culinary industry, food and beverage brands have been experimenting with inventive crossover creations of their own. While fried eggs are sometimes served on top of burger patties, and many consumers enjoy eating their eggs with ketchup, this omelette offers an alternative way to enjoy beef, ketchup and eggs all at once.

Alongside the new Cheeseburger Omelette, IHOP also launched a few other American beef-centric menu items, such as Cheeseburger Sliders and the Patty Melt.
