Just Laid's Egg Carton Packaging Promotes Local, Fresh Food with Humor

The egg carton packaging for Just Laid by Springetts Brand Design Consultants was developed as a cheeky take on how a brand could make locally-produced eggs stand out and humorous way. The imagery on the cartons, as well as the text makes it seem truly as though the hen on each box is sitting on a fresh egg that almost looks like it's ready to pop out of the container.

For the fun designs on the front of the Just Laid boxes, there are three caricatures of hens laying eggs that each wears a slightly different expression and interacts with the egg in a playful way. As well as the comical packaging, the eggs have appeal since they're branded simply and note that the eggs come from free range chickens.
