French designer Ronan Bouroullec creates six new designs dubbed the Editions series for Italian ceramics company Mutina. The capsule is limited and it features five vases along with a candelabra -- all of these highlight the beauty of handmade ceramics that are detailed with a subtle imperfection.
It is defined by its ancient glaze blend that gives the structures its unique color palette and shadows. Notably, all of these are signed and detailed specifically to note their exclusivity. One of these is the Talea, which is inspired by nature and translates to 'cutting' in Italian. It nods to the piece of a plant that is chopped off to allow a new plant to grow. The sides of the vase are detailed with six balls that represent budding plants.
