Vilkmergės ŽIemos Ale is Decorated with a Spice-Baked Treat

To offer a fun new way for consumers to explore the flavors in Vilkmergės Žiemos ale, Aurimas Kadzevičius designed an edible beer label for the brand.

The edible, flour-based packaging label takes the shape of a cookie and is richly flavored with some of the most classic fall and winter spices—cloves, anise and cinnamon. As well as adding value to the beer product by providing an additional snack, the edible beer labels also have the potential to impact the way people enjoy the ale if they are consumed alongside one another.

Whether or not the label was created for the sake of minimizing waste, many sustainably minded consumers are now interested in novelty designs that do more than just help to identify a product's unique qualities.
