Bulbous Brainstorming Pods

The edg Creatives Pumpkin Room Stimulates Employees

Designed by David Ho, the edg Creatives Pumpkin Room offers employees an out-of-the-box place to host meetings and brainstorming sessions. The bubble-like structure is constructed of polycarbonate panels mounted onto a curvaceous steel frame. The pod can also be lit up for night time cram sessions thanks to the integrated fluorescent light fixtures.

The space-aged dome was inspired by the classic fairytale Cinderella, which Ho states is where the pumpkin-like profile was derived from. The room can be also be opened up into a series of partitions, providing an eye-catching way to section off functional spaces. This dual-purpose system is ideal for open-concept workplaces where a multitude of people and actions are happening at once.
