Period Piece Paper Dolls

The Downton Abbey Paper Dolls You Never Knew You Needed

Vulture.com has created a clever set of printable Downton Abbey paper dolls to bring the fun of the monstrously successful British drama to your own manor. The show, which is set in a stately Yorkshire manor in the early 20th century, has quickly become a hit on either side of the Atlantic.

There are four sheets in Vulture.com's Downton Abbey paper dolls set. Dowager Countess (played by Maggie Smith on the program) comes with an "assortment of emotions," which hilariously enough just means six interchangeable expressions that are actually all the same. Matthew and Mary come with "even more sexual tension" while Thomas and O'Brien came with a "conspiring action and evil playset." Sybil Crawley is possibly the funniest, however, as her paper doll comes with "female empowerment accessories," like a cross-stitching project of the communist symbol.
