The Dove 'Who Inspired You?' Campaign Encourages Self-Esteem

The soap brand Dove (owned by Unilever), which has been in the business of promoting natural beauty and self-confidence since its Campaign for Real Beauty in 2004, has launched the Dove 'Who Inspired You?' social media campaign.

The Dove 'Who Inspired You?' campaign asks women to reflect on the people that have made a difference in their lives, and tell their stories about who has had the greatest influence in helping them build their self-esteem. Women can participate in this campaign by sharing their stories on Dove's Facebook page. What's more, Dove will donate $1 for every story it receives to Girls Inc., in addition to $200,000 it is donating to the non-profit organization for self-esteem programming in the United States.
