Artist Lumos5001 drawings entitled ‘Doctor Who Puffs’ illustrates all the different incarnations of the Doctor Who character in the form of Power Puff Girls.
Lumos5001’s "powerpuffication" of the popular British series might seem like an odd choice, however while the Power Puff Girls were never as big as Doctor Who, they did have their own cult following. The Power Puff Girls big expressive eyes and rounded hands and feet make them instantly recognizable characters to fans and non-fans alike. Oddly enough, the fusion of the two series seems to work well, due in part to the skill of the artist and the eccentricity of the Doctor Who character matching the art style.
Lumos5001 did these drawings in honor the 50th Anniversary of the sci-fi phenomenon. I believe ‘Doctor Who Puffs’ is a fitting tribute.
