3D-Printed Cosplays

This DIY Cosplay Costume Took Over 1,700 Print Hours to Create

Boston's annual PAX East convention recently took place, where many DIY cosplay costumes were on display. One in particular is a costume from the all-new Embers of War, which Dark Rift Entertainment commissioned from 3D printing costumer Bindi Smalls, who is also known as Natasha Spokish.

Spokish worked with Sox Cosplay and Props in order to create a fully 3D-printed costume in order to announce the Embers of War game at PAX East.

The 3D-printed costume is made from about 80 individual parts and came together in just about a month from 11 3D printers working for more than 1,700 hours. An impressive DIY cosplay costume design like this speaks volumes for the future of completely custom cosplaying, costuming and fashion in the years to come.
