Designer’s Bae Su-Kyoo and Noh Haeun created an eco-friendly design for McDonald's allowing them to cut down on unnecessary waste. It’s called the Dipping Cover and patrons can now stop going to fill up their ketchup cups and instead put it right on their drinks' lids.
The experimental concept behind this convenient lid is to put a small groove right in the center of your drink’s lid. This way, you can cut down on waste by being a bit more resourceful.
The designers say it’s not messy and super easy for on the go use. Your straw wouldn’t be right in the center anymore, so there’s no worry about guzzling down any ketchup. This is a great solution to putting an end to pointless garbage.
