The Coca-Cola Company has announced two new Diet Coke flavors as part of its continued reinvigoration of the soda variety to make it more applicable with discerning consumers.
The new flavors include Strawberry Guava and Blueberry Acai, which have both been selected after extensive flavor testing with over 2,000 American consumers. The fruity, artisan-inspired sodas are sure to be right at home with the other exotic flavor varieties that the brand released last year to the delight of many younger consumer demographics.
Group Director of Diet Coke, Rafael Acevedo, explained the new new Diet Coke flavors when he said, "We focused on modernizing Diet Coke to appeal to a new consumer base while at the same time connecting with our core drinkers by preserving the essence of what makes this brand so special. We took smart risks in our approach to this holistic brand restage, and everything worked together to generate excitement and draw new fans to the brand."
