Reinterpreted Drug Soda Ads

The New Diet Coke Ad Gets Twisted and Given a Completely New Meaning

The new diet Coke ad came with a very simple slogan, "You're on. Diet Coke." Unfortunately for Coca-Cola, having a simple slogan means it's easy to culture jam. Animal New York took the simple ad and simple imagery and saddled them with drug references.

The debate for Coca-Cola initially containing cocaine is robust and there are as many opinions as there are customers. The general consensus in today's world is that it did at some point contain at least a little bit of cocaine. Animal New York is using this shady past as inspiration for ads that poke fun at the new diet Coke ads.

The ads feature straws, cocaine powder and razor blades in the background with drug related sentences and "You're on diet Coke" scrawled across the bottom.
