Becky McKay, a contributor to the online food blog FoodBeast.com, came up with a delicious Dessert Lasagna and decided to share it with her readers -- and you'll undoubtedly be happy she did. The confection doesn't actually involve sheets of pasta, cheese or meat sauce, but it does adhere to the layered concept of making the popular Italian meal.
While browsing the Internet, McKay stumbled upon a dessert recipe that mixed together chocolate chip cookies, Oreo fudge brownie bars and chocolate chip cookie dough. Being "often responsible for not following any rules in the kitchen," McKay took inspiration from the recipe and created her own recipe that also mixes various types of cookies together.
For her recipe, she baked chocolate chip cookies, Oreos, Blondies and cake batter together in layers as if it were lasagna.
