The all-new Polaroid Design 3D pen is the subject of a new crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo that specifically targets professional artists, designers and engineers.
When the printing pen was first unveiled at this year's CES, it was initially presented as a product for at-home users and families. However, Polaroid now says: "Because of the positive reception the Polaroid Draw 3D pen received, we decided to take a look at other segments of the market that were in need of quality 3D products at the right price point."
The Polaroid Design 3D pen includes features like six speed presets, a built-in cooling fan, temperature settings and an OLED LCD screen for displaying settings. Some of the filaments that are compatible with the printing pen include everything from wood to metal.
