So many people have been trying to delete the U2 album that Apple had to create its own help page. Following last week's Apple event where details of the iPhone 6 were released along with other informational updates, Apple provided a new U2 album as a gift. Many people were surprised to discover the free gift was already downloaded as a 'purchase' in their iTunes and voiced their frustration on the internet about not having the option to download 'Songs of Innocence' themselves.
However, U2 manager Guy Oseary simply asked unhappy iTunes users to delete the U2 album. Apple backed his comment by creating a page called 'Remove iTunes Gift Album 'Songs of Innocence' from your iTunes Music Library and Purchases.'
