Deepfake Detection Collaborations

AWS Has Announced It Will Join the Deepfake Detection Challenge

Amazon Web Services, or AWS, has announced that it will collaborate with Facebook and Microsoft by working with the Deepfake Detection Challenge. The Deepfake Detection Challenge is a collection of organizations that work together to create technologies that can reliably detect deepfake content. Amazon Web Services will join the program in two different capacities, the first is a partner, but it will also serve on the oversight committee.

In order to fulfill its partnership commitments, AWSs will provide experts in machine learning to make their technical expertise available to the Deepfake Detection Challenge. AWS will also provide a $1 million credit to any team on the project that requires cloud technology to implement deepfake detection software.
