Warsaw-based studio UAU Project produces a line of 3D-printed decor objects that do not only have a sculptural and stylish aesthetic but also design-focused functionality. With this colorful collection the Polish collective plans to highlight the potential of 3D printers, their usability and a drive for sustainability.
Each decor object by UAU Project is created with 100% biodegradable PLA filaments — a material that is made from renewable resources. In addition, the designs of the colorful items are fully digital. This means that the decor objects in UAU Project's collection can be printed on-demand and anywhere in the world, which takes the conventional supply chain out of the equation to reduce costs and carbon footprints.
