IKEA Has Launched the FLAMTRÄD Collection Across Germany
Colin Smith — January 6, 2022 — Art & Design
IKEA has unveiled its newest collection in Germany, the IKEA FLAMTRÄD collection, which includes an array of 3D-printed home décor products. While IKEA does not disclose sensitive information with regards to its suppliers, the products in the FLAMTRÄD collection boast a reasonably low price considering their size and 3D-printed roots. The decorative products range from $35 to $60 USD, which is more expensive than other IKEA products but still quite inexpensive compared to popular 3D printed product lines.
The FLAMTRÄD collection itself takes inspiration from the human form, specifically hands and heads. The line features an array of stylized hands that act as coat holders, jewelry holders, decorative wall fixtures, and various other decorative pieces. The 3D-printed heads act as hat holders and several other home décor pieces.
