Gaming fans, brace yourselves, because your addiction is about the get much worse. Blizzard announced the release of Diablo 3 today. The first trailer, which can be seen above, was released at the Worldwide Invitational in Paris.
"One of the things that we considered when we were working on the visuals for Diablo III is the fact that color is your friend," lead producer Keith Lee explained. "We feel that color actually helps to create a lot of highlights in the game so that there is contrast. A great analogy is like in Lord of the Ringsâ€"not everything is dark."
The Diablo III philosophy is "No such thing as too much power," according to the game's lead designer, Jay Wilson.
While Blizzard has launched an official Diablo II site, they have yet to announce a release date.
