Country Archer Provisions is packing the heat of the Guinness Book of World Record’s hottest pepper into limited-edition one-ounce bags and challenging people to try its new Death Reaper Beef Jerky. The bags contain a snack that's so spicy they have warning labels and come with gloves to make sure that people are properly prepared for their experience with the pepper, which can reach up to two million Scoville heat units.
For the launch of this ultra-spicy beef jerky snack, the brand is introducing the #DeathReaperChallenge, which involves putting on a protective glove and trying to finish the jerky without eating or drinking anything to quell the heat. As co-founder and CEO of Country Archer Provisions, Eugene Kang, says "People across the country have become obsessed with spicy foods, and we wanted to create something that really brings the heat for those who love tormenting their tastebuds."
