Scooby-Doo and the gang of crime-solving meddling kids have been solving mysteries for over 50 years, and have recently received a live-action spin off, staring Daphne and Velma.
The spin-off story will center around the show's female characters and will introduce the audience to the origin story of the two crime-loving teens, prior to meeting the rest of their gang. This iteration will star Sarah Jeffery and Sarah Gilman and is being produced by Jennifer and Ashley Tisdale’s production company 'Blondie Girl' in collaboration with Warner Bros. The production duo stated "Blondie Girl is committed to telling stories from a female perspective and we could not be more thrilled to give Daphne and Velma their own story."
The film is set to release in 2018.
