Spring may not be here yet, but things are still looking green at Trader Joe's with the launch of the brand's new Cucumber Avocado Smoothie.
Trader Joe's new Cucumber Avocado Smoothie is a 12-ounce bottle of bright green goodness. The new smoothie consists of a refreshing blend of half of an avocado, one cucumber, half of a small mango, a whole cup of spinach, four acerola cherries, three slices of ginger root, and the juice of one lime. But instead of pasteurizing these ingredients, Trader Joe's puts the blend through a cold, water-pressure method called High Pressure Processing (HPP). This ensures the smoothie is "safe to drink, without reducing its nutritional benefits or fresh, cucumber-forward flavor."
