Beloved anime streamer Crunchyroll has officially launched on Nintendo Switch, where it will be available for download from the Switch eShop for free. Beginning today, users will be able to download the Crunchyroll app, where they will be provided access to over 1,000 series, including hit shows such as 'One Piece' and 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.' In addition, Crunchyroll will offer offline viewing options -- a first for any streamer on Switch.
Moreover, the app will feature three innovative watch modes: TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld mode, each catering to a users' preferred viewing experience. For example, TV mode will allow users to dock and plug in their Switches to a TV for big-screen viewing.
