Crowd Sourced Catalogues

Dutch IKEA Kitchen Catalogues Created With Customer Photos

Every flat pack fan loves getting their annual IKEA catalogue, which is why it's no wonder their new campaign to promote IKEA kitchens in the Netherlands is taking off!

Any Dutch IKEA customers who have recently purchased a new kitchen from the Swedish retailer are invited to participate in an online, crowd sourced catalog, the Open Keuken, by submitting photos of their new cooking space. Not only will they get to see how other users rate their kitchens, but they'll have a chance to win back the monetary investment they put into their IKEA kitchens! At the same time, this type of brand engagement will hopefully inspire new customers, and therefore entice them to buy from IKEA too. Just for voting, they'll have a chance to win their own IKEA kitchen too, which is reason enough to vote in my books!
