Tortilla Chip-Coated Chicken

Taco Bell's New Crispy Tortilla Chicken is Made with Tortilla Chips

Taco Bell is well known for its innovative dishes and its new Crispy Tortilla Chicken is no exception.

Currently being tested at select locations in Houston, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, Taco Bell's Crispy Tortilla Chicken is a clever take on the brand's signature chicken strips. Instead of the usual coating, Taco Bell has taken strips of premium all-white-meat chicken, marinated it in a jalapeño buttermilk mixture and then coated each strip in a layer of crunchy tortilla chips. The new dish is available as chicken strip served with a side of Creamy Chilli Pepper dipping sauce, or paired with lettuce, cheese, and diced tomatoes as a Crispy Tortilla Chicken Taco.

Though still in the testing phase, Taco Bell's Crispy Tortilla Chicken is slated for nationwide release in 2020.
