Creative Juice is a Low-Strength "Desk Beer" for Creative Problem-Solving

Research-focused design and branding agency Office of Overview developed a work-friendly, low-strength beer called Creative Juice that could be consumed during work hours to kick-start the creative process—just as some adults use microdose with mushrooms to enhance productivity, focus and creativity at work.

In 2018, Professor Andrew Jarosz at Mississippi State University released a research paper that revealed how intoxication can help with creative problem-solving, and these findings inspired Office of Overview's 2.1% "desk beer." For the project, Office of Overview reached out to local brewery Small Beer for a mid-strength lager and came up with a visual identity for the work-friendly beer that aligned with its fun, silly and carefree spirit.

Creative Juice is paired with a short film in the style of The Office.
