Portugal-based closures manufacturer Amorim created a range of Top Series cork stoppers that are designed to enhance customers' sensory experiences by tapping into the five senses. The new stoppers are said to offer aromatic experiences even before a bottle has been opened. Some of the scents that the Sense Tops stoppers are capable of sharing include notes of fruit, spices, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. The cork stoppers can be created in a range of different colors and designed with a fragrant micro-capsule that's released when rubbed.
Also under the Top Series range is the Ambiance Series, which combines cork pieces with LED technology that can be activated remotely or triggered by turning the cap, as well as the Evolutive Series of heat-sensitive stoppers.
